NVA Architects engaged Nymora to deliver production support on a 4,800 sqft modern coastal residence in Southern California, with a construction budget of $2.4M. NVA led concept and design direction; our mandate was to convert design intent into build-ready documentation, coordinate disciplines in BIM, and provide 3D visuals for faster client approvals and permitting.

Onboarding & Standards
We opened with a 45-minute kickoff to fix scope, milestones, and decision paths. We created a cloud “single source of truth,” confirmed sheet sizes and plotting styles, and built project standards layer conventions, view templates, title blocks, naming rules, and revision codes aligned to NVA’s office guidelines.
Parallel Production
Drafting and modeling ran simultaneously. In AutoCAD, we produced plans, RCPs, elevations, sections, door/window schedules, lighting layouts, millwork, and annotated legends. In Revit, we developed a coordinated model with levels, grids, and shared coordinates ready for consultant links. This parallel track let us validate dimensions, maintain clearances, and standardize details early.
Clash Prevention & Coordination
We federated architectural, structural, and MEP models and executed targeted clash sets (ducts vs. beams, risers vs. shafts, fixture clearances). Each issue carried a pinned viewpoint, priority, and proposed fix. Quick wins were resolved directly; design-impact items were flagged for NVA’s review to avoid bottlenecks.
Communication Rhythm
Daily progress notes in Slack, weekly coordination calls, and Bluebeam markup loops kept everyone aligned. Decisions were logged, and transmittals listed contents, revisions, and next steps no guesswork.
Visualization & Approvals
Photoreal renders of the kitchen-living core, primary suite, and ocean-facing patio aligned stakeholder expectations on materials, lighting, and proportions. What the client approved visually matched our sheets technically.
Quality Assurance & Issue
Every sheet passed a two-tier QC (drafter self-check, lead review). We verified dimensions, tags, line weights, callouts, ADA clearances, plot settings, and printed test PDFs for legibility. Deliverables were issued as PDF (permit/bid), DWG, and RVT, with clean references and a revision log.
