Discovery & Standards
We opened with a concise kickoff to confirm scope, room-by-room priorities, and decision-makers. A cloud “single source of truth” housed briefs, finish schedules, and reference imagery. We fixed sheet sizes, plotting styles, and naming conventions so every plan, elevation, and schedule read the same across the set.
Field Data & Base Setup
Accurate drawings start with accurate inputs. We reviewed as-builts, reconciled tape and laser measurements, and flagged inconsistencies before production. In Revit, we established levels, grids, and shared coordinates; in AutoCAD, we prepared sheet templates and detail libraries for rapid, consistent output.
Parallel Drafting & Modeling
Drafting and modeling ran together to keep design momentum. Plans, RCPs, elevations, millwork details, and lighting layouts were produced in AutoCAD while a coordinated Revit model captured walls, ceilings, casework, and fixtures. This dual-track approach let us validate dimensions, maintain clearances, and standardize details early reducing downstream rework.
Material Logic & Detailing
Interior design lives in the details. We translated palettes into layered documentation: finish legends, tile layouts with pattern orientation, millwork shop details with edge profiles, appliance cutouts, and hardware callouts. Every note tied to a schedule, and every schedule tied back to a verified product submittal.
Visualization that Drives Decisions
To align expectations, we delivered photoreal renders of the kitchen-living core, bath vignettes, and key millwork moments. Lighting temperatures, reflectance, and material roughness were tuned so what the client approved visually matched the technical sheets. 360 views supported quick stakeholder buy-in without lengthy meetings.
Coordination & Issue Tracking
We ran targeted coordination checks casework vs. plumbing rough-ins, lighting vs. duct runs, door swings vs. furniture plans. Each issue carried a pinned viewpoint, priority, and proposed fix. Quick wins were resolved immediately; design-impact items were elevated for timely decisions.
Quality Assurance & Deliverables
Every sheet passed a two-tier QC (drafter self-check, lead review). We verified line weights, tags, ADA clearances where applicable, and plotted test PDFs to confirm legibility at scale. Final deliverables included PDF sets for permit and bid, editable DWGs for consultants, and RVT files with clean references and a revision log.
Outcome
The designer gained coordinated, construction-ready documentation and visuals that removed guesswork. Trades priced confidently, stakeholders approved faster, and the project advanced smoothly.
